In October 2011, Bec became the proud owner of Red Ivie Hairdressing. Since then, she has poured her heart into building a salon where creativity thrives, standards are high, and clients feel truly valued.

My Story
Ever since I was little, I’ve enjoyed playing with hair. That early love for creating and styling quickly grew into a deep passion for the hair and beauty industry. I became a hairdresser because I love helping people feel confident and beautiful, and I’ve always been eager to learn, grow, and expand my knowledge in this ever-evolving craft.
My professional journey began in 1995 at TAFE SA, where I completed the Pre-Vocational Hair & Beauty course. Later that year, I began my hairdressing apprenticeship in Kingston SE. Driven by a strong entrepreneurial spirit, I soon took the leap and purchased the local salon, managing it for over six years.
Eventually, I relocated to Mount Gambier, with my family and in October 2011, I proudly became the owner of Red Ivie Hairdressing. It’s been an incredibly rewarding journey, and I feel grateful every day to lead a team of talented, passionate, and dedicated professionals who share the same love for this industry as I do.
